Got a good poncho pattern?

I'm looking for a poncho pattern for myself...here's what I want...
-no tassles
-warm for winter but not too bulky
-no turtleneck
-something that won't cling to my thick midsection!
-relatively quick
-easy to intermediate
-something really hip/stylish not the granny poncho/Ugly Betty poncho

I've been searching all night and I'm exhausted and thought I'd try here. Thanks in advance!

First, I don't know what the Ugly Betty poncho is, but I really like the Yarn Harlot's poncho pattern. It looks really nice in variegated yarn, and you don't have to knit the fringe. I made one for my mom in Silk Garden using larger needles so it wouldn't be too heavy, and it turned out great.

Also, there's Holey Moley from Knitty. I made one but in just regular stockinette, again using bigger needles than the yarn might call for, and it turned out really cute. It's my most-worn poncho.

Sorry-Forgot that important detail!

Knit please!

Thanks Honeytree. I do like the Harlot one and I like the Knitty one a lot too, but I think it will be a little too holey!

Maybe Villa, from Knitty?

Or Knitty's editor, Amy Singer has one on her blog here, with Rav linky here with pictures. Looks like it meets your req.'s.

Ooh, I just queue'd this one! Rav linky here! Pretty, and looks simple. Don't let the cable scare you off! If you haven't cabled, this would be a perfect way to start!

Yes, I should have specified that MY "warm for winter but not too bulky" criteria is based in Florida! Though again, using the two-rectangle principle but with a heavier yarn in a tighter gauge, you can do a lot. I saw a cute example in I think the Yarn Sisters book many years ago...

I'd love to see Amy Singer's Instant Poncho from the back. I personally tend to like ponchos that have a little vertical vs. horizontal shaping, since I'm trying to draw the attention AWAY from the width .
