TWO pounds in TWO weeks!!

Holy crap, I must have super fatty milk! I took Ethan in for my/his two week postpartum check up with my midwife and he is now at 10lbs 11oz in just two weeks! He was 8lbs 14oz when he was born. Is that a lot? Cause it seems like a lot.

We've been given the general guideline of an oz a day. So he does sound like he's gaining more than that, but I think it's great! Go nursing mama!

Molly (DD2) gained a pound a week. She was 8#13 at birth.

I think it's fine....what did your mw think? My babe at one week (yesterday) was 9.10...from 9.5 at birth...and at 24 hours was 8.10. Sounds like your babe is growing and thriving very well! I can't wait to see some pics of how he looks now

Ok, well I guess I was a little excited when I posted, apparently it's not unusual The midwife was pretty impressed.
