Silly putty in fleece

How would you remove silly putty from fleece? I've tried to freeze it, but apparently silly putty doesn't freeze like gum. I've tried scraping it with a sharp knife, and got some of the chunks off but there is definitely a residue left.

Any ideas? TIA.

No idea... I'm trying to figure out how to get it out of jeans.

Hoping someone has answers for us!

Did the rubbing alcohol work? I have silly putty stuck in the carpet and in my DS fav blanket.

This morning I got up with the intention of trying it, only to find that I am out of rubbing alcohol. I've got to go to the store tonight so I'll pick some up and will report back.

If you google "silly putty removal" (which is what I should have done first...duh), it comes up with a lot of suggestions, and rubbing alcohol is one. As is WD-40. I've got to get this stuff out of the garment, so I will definitely let you know what works best.
