Playstands will be too big for our home - What to do?

We just don't have the space for playstands.

DH and I were thinking of getting a long low bookshelf with a single shelf in the middle (and of course the space for items on top).

But what I love about the playstands are the arches to hold the beautiful silk for a play space, fort, etc. Is there someway to incorporate this feature into our home without playstands?

Suggestions?

I think there is a photo on threesisterstoys site in the play room section that has the canopy suspended from the ceiling with 3 light dowels and fishing thread.Its simple and beautiful. Thus you can have your canopy too with your book shelves. Have fun
