Ashland Eir (pronounced "Air") was born Saturday, December 27 at 11:11 via Cesarean Section.

He was 5 lb, 2 oz, 17.5 inches at birth, and arrived 5 weeks early after a partial placental abruption and a 10 day pre-term labor stay in the hospital (you can see my thread here)

He's in the NICU now, doing very well except for some feeding issues. I'm pumping like crazy, and my milk is just starting to drop. I'll be in the hospital until Wednesday, but I think Ashland will be here for at least another two days or more after we leave.

I posted pics and the story on my blog. Yay, baby Ash!!
