Window star paper?

Thread Starter
Someone offered the window star book on craigslist for free here and I'm going to pick it up today, but I can't find kite paper in any of the places like JoAnns or Michaels. Is it something I should be able to find there, only maybe by a different name or something? Or is it something I just need to order online?

Thanks!

I'm going to ask in crafts too.

if there is a waldof store near you it may have them. regular colored tissue paper will work though or any semi translucent paper

What a lucky find! Yeah for you
Have fun making these!
Many crafty waldorf websites offer the paper, such as:
beardancecrafts.com
achildsdream.com

Great Craigslist find!

I just today ordered the book and some kite paper from A Toy Garden using the $5 off coupon code (Mother5off2008).

Thanks for all the replies, I guess I'll be ordering online. I looked one more time at Jo-Ann's and Michaels for anything that seemed like it was transparent and thicker than tissue paper and all I could find was vellum in the scrapbooking section, but it came in like white, silver, gold and pink. I got a piece of pink to play with in the meantime, but it doesn't seem like it will be good color for one.

Is anyone looking at this familiar with the Waldorf school in Pittsburgh to know if you can get any kind of supplies there? I can't tell from looking at their website and I don't know anyone involved in that, I live a little too far out.
