Chili - don't do it!

Oh gross! I made chili for dinner last night, it was soooo good! Its only the second time I've ever made it.
Last night as I was laying in bed nursing my son I detected this nasty odor, and it took me a few mins to realize that the smell was my breastmilk! Yuck! All night long I had that smell stuck in my nose and my son was sooo fussy, it must have been the milk too! Gross!

I remember when I was bfing my first daughter I had parmesan pesto pasta for dinner one night and boy, did that affect my milk! My daughter stank all night!

I'm defiinitely going to be more aware of what foods may alter the taste of my breastmilk.

My gift to you... stay away from the chili!!!

we have had chili several times since she was born and no problems here but garlic used to do it w/ds1 but not w/ the otheer3.
