National Vaccine Advisory Committee is holding public meetings

There will be 2 public meetings, one in Ashland, Oregon and and one in Indianapolis, Indiana to find out why people aren't vaccinating. There was already one in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this month. Its asking people who want to attend to please preregister but so far I can't find where to do this but I really do want to go.

They're requiring registration from what I was reading, something about ensuring an accurate cross section of people.

The primary objective will be to identify participants’ values and concerns which will contribute to prioritization of scientific activities in the ISO [Immunization Safety Office] agenda.

I would imagine that there are lots of opinions as to what the motivation for this sort of activity might be.

Sorry to be negative Nelly, but I'll say what alot of you are thinking. This is a gimmick to determine why we aren't vaxing and then train medical personel in how best to counter our arguments and quell our concerns. I highly doubt they really want to know so they can become more lax about vax requirements or schedules. But hey I certainly hope I'm wrong- then again, I also hope to hit the lottery this year and that my breasts will go back where they were before I nursed two kiddos!!! :
