Anyone else here breastfeeding? - Page 4

I'm nursing my 6 month old 24/7. I don't usually get my cycles back until 14/15 month PP but last time I got pg when the baby was 7 months and I nursed her through the pregnancy. I plan to nurse through this one too. I've been nursing non stop for 12 years plus. I have tandem nursed and tandem nursed while pregnant. My milk supply does drop and this time and last time I took that Mother's Milk Two tincture. It seemed to help alot.

My DD just turned 4 this week and we are still bfing. The minimum she nurses is to fall asleep at night and upon waking. Usually at some point in the afternoon she'll ask as well. I'm only about 6 or 7 weeks now -- due September 12th -- and not looking forward to tandem nursing. I'm all for child-led weaning but I was really hoping she would be finished by the time I was pregnant again. Just taking it a day at a time!

I am nursing my 21 month old, he LOVES his nursies. I am not sure what to do, as I do have a history of pre-term labor issues, and need to not have contractions due to a scarred uterus that has proven itself unreliable.

I just feel so badly as ds LOVES to nurse, and I know weaning him will be awful. I have never had to initiate weaning before.

I am trying not to worry too much about it until I meet with my OB and we discuss it all. I am hoping he will say that I have at least until 5-6 months before I need to wean completely, or- maybe he will even say that nursing a couple of times/day shouldn't be an issue (that would be awesome!).

Right now ds nurses probably 5-7 times per day and even more than that at night.
