Ugh, WebMD's info on circumcision is seriously LACKING...

At least they say that the AAP doesn't recommend it. Yet they only refer to 'pain' of circumcision after it's done, they don't say that the operation itself is painful.

I didn't read it all but under Resources at the bottom, they list NOCIRC! I like that!

What about the article did you NOT like and wish to see changed?

One thing I noticed off the bat while skimming is that they say "By age 3, most boys who have not been circumcised can retract the foreskin of the penis without any problems.7 (In rare cases, the foreskin of the natural penis [uncircumcised] cannot be retracted after a boy has reached puberty, in which case circumcision may be recommended.)" From what I understand most boys aren't fully retractable by 3, right? At least they don't mention a circumcision recommendation unless the boy is not retractable after puberty, I guess.

I DID like, however, that the picture/illustration they have for comparing the circ'd and intact penis labels the intact penis the "natural penis" instead of "uncircumcised"

It is your decision whether to have your son circumcised.

Problems from circumcision are rare. If they occur, they are usually minor.
This line of thinking needs to change or this will never stop. All the problems they mention are immediate, so no one thinks that grown men can have issues resulting from circ.
