Circ Rates too low

I came here to post the same thing... Man oh man....

If only the state would cover it - just think, we could get our circ rates up to par? Really.

I live in the province with the least circ rate in Canada 1-2%... right next to the province with the highest 50%.

The difference? Accesability and Price. There is one doc there that charges $50 - here it's over $300 and must be done in hopital.

Well, I voted and commented. Neither of my boys are sliced, but I made that decision even before I met my intact dh. I made that decision when I was 11 yrs old and my parents couldn't find a doc to circ my youngest brother. You don't have the right to make that choice for someone else.

It's barbaric and cruel to slice off part of a body that is NOT yours. If people would educate themselves (since many docs still don't have the right info on how to care for an intact penis) then boys wouldn't suffer from infections and uncleanliness. It's really NOT rocket science, people. It is NOT your body, you do NOT have the right to slice it up.

Pushy? Maybe. Do I care? Not really.

I have in the past, when my oldest was tiny (he'll be 9 in April), and it's just not worth my time.
