Finding a doctor in Bozeman

Greetings to you all. We just moved to Bozeman from Seattle and I was wondering if you had any recommendations for doctors in the area.

We're used to going to an ND and a homeopathic doctor. However, and most unfortunately, our insurance does not allow any "alternative, non traditional" medicine in our plan. I am working at trying to change this, but in the mean time...

Does anybody know of an MD in Bozeman who doesn't think like an MD and would tend more towards open communication and an ND attitude?

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thank you.

Oh, I forgot to mention that we haven't done any vaccinations with my kids at all, so we'll be up against that battle with a new doctor, especially an MD. I haven't had to battle this for a while, so wish me luck.

Dr. Curt Kurts is an "old school" kind of guy, he is older, but never vaccinated his children and is more natural. ) Also Dr. Harris at Medical Associates is a normal thinking Dr, however doesn't judge people on the decisions they make and will work with what you want to do. Personally I haven't used either of them, but have heard good things. Good luck! We use Dr. Breanna and our insurance excepts her, who do you have for ins.?

Our ins is bcbs through zoot, and I talked to the ins company directly to see what the covered. They won't cover ND's. I know drs harris and brianna are both nd's, unfortunately. I'll look into it again though. I think dr. harris was mentioned by our nd in seattle.

Dashbabies: There is ANOTHER Dr. Harris. There is the ND and the regular Dr. at Medical Associates. LOL, sorry about the confusion. BCBS is so weird, that's what we have and they accept Dr. B. Zoot must have different policies. That stinks!

kellid: The BW group meets once a month at the Birth Center, 601 West Villard. We meet the 2nd Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. So next Wed on the 14th. Hope to see you there!
