Happy New Year!!!

We went home and Adam went straight to bed. The girls and I just rang in the new year with a sparkling orange drinks w/ cherries while watching Elf.
The party was awesome and now Eva wants us to buy a disco ball. Thanks for the party and thanks for the awesome food everyone!

Its easy to remember when you have a party for it.
So I will be cleaning today. I put all the food away and piled up the plates and dishes. DH went to bed before 12 and I re watched the ball drop and then turned out the light. we are so old.

Happy New Year and thanks for the party Doularn! We had a blast.

We celebrated this morning with chocolate chip pancakes in the shape of 2009. S wouldn't touch the number pancakes so dh and I split them. YUMMY!

When are we doing playgroup again? It's much needed around here!

Thanks for the party Doularn! We had so much fun! Ds really liked the disco.

Both kids crashed on the way home.
they were both up by 11 though.

Yes playgroup soon and MNO too. We talked about doing a wii MNO so the mamas can get a chance at it. If we could do it this week that would be awesome. ANy night this week works for me during the weekend or week. What works for everyone else?
We should just pretend it is a playgroup party and then "let off" the dhs by saying "fine you stay home with the kids and i will just go alone" then they will think they are getting out of something.

But who can dump kids and husbands so we can Wii? I want to try Wii fit. Who has that?

PS I just told DH to get up

2009 pancakes sound like fun! We celebrated the new year with ham sandwiches, cupcakes, and watched the Rose Parade.

Any night is fine for me for MNO. I have to admit though, I'm not much of a game player.

Thanks so much Doularn for hosting such a fab party! I can tell you put so much work and time into it! The food was also awesome and I wish I didn't get so full so fast because I wanted more, especially your soup ASF.

Our morning has been real slow. I'm even sicker now and my head just feels like it's going to explode. Ugh.

I was gonna say we can do MNO at my house since I've got a wii fit, but we're leaving tomorrow for Disneyland and we'll be gone all next week.

Have fun

We have the fit, I can do any night but the 8th.

Crap I forgot all about the Rose Parade. We've been working on getting the decorations down, I feel like my life is being overtaken by stuff.

Crazy, feel better soon!

Doularn, don't have your movie but good luck finding it. I think we left S's present from Anodyne though.

I think I'm available from MNO any time this week. What about afternoon mom's time out? We'd talked about doing it so Blue and possibly peacelove could come.

I found it. Sadly it was a blue ray disc. I screwed up but I got it off of Itunes and finally watched it. Pretty funny seeing Meryl Streep and James Bond try to sing LOL

yes you did leave the gift.

are we talking tomorrow for PG or next week? I'm off Thurs and Fri of next week but will have kid/s.

Yeah we had talked about a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I'm good with both.

So everyone knock on wood before you read on....

....... M slept from 8:50 last night until 7:30 this morning :: Now I was up half the night wondering what was going on but she woke up all happy and ready for the day. If she does it again maybe I'll get some sleep.

YAY M!

My C slept until 930a! L was up at 730 but went and watched TV.

D and I rearranged the playroom, dining room and office yesterday. I am sore and tired.

I am ordering here tonight if anyone wants in. This is to make tutus. It is more $$ by the roll then by yardage at the fabric store but sooooo much easier. They also have a bigger variety of colors. If anyone wants some just let me know today so i can get my tulle quick since C wants a pink vday tutu. It is 2.50/roll but if you order 12 rolls is is 2/roll. I use 2 rolls for a tutu.

Yes but i have no idea how much etc? Can we do it in time for C's birthday?
you need about 2 rolls per tutu -i usualy use 3 or 4 colors so i get a couple of tutus out of it. Like for C i am using 3 or 4 shades of pink. What day is Cs bday? Once you have the tulle it will only be a few hours to make it and it is super easy just boring
