Hi All, Fozzie and I will be back with you all soon. We found out last week (at 7 w) by ultrasound that the embryo had stopped developing, got the confirmation today, and are now waiting for the misoprostol--assisted m/c to take place.

What gives us hope is that this isn't our only chance -- despite our sadness and anger at lost time, we'll be able to try again before too long.

So, hugs and courage to all of you who are TTC, and we'll be back here soon.

Frustration today - I had reasonably decent EWCM yesterday, today it seems to be gone, but I'm insemming tonight anyway. Cervix is still open, and I'm drinking green tea to see if the ewcm comes back.

This cycle is whacked. I've one day patches of ewcm twice this cycle, hopefully I'll actually O today/tomorrow.

AFU: We're at the "when do we pick up the sperm" stage. We'll definitely have to pick up by Friday, but Friday I actually have to be at work from 9-5, and I generally have the car. (My work schedule is generally pretty flexible, as I have a lot of evening meetings so can take other time off during the week.) I'm guessing I'll O around Sunday or Monday, but I've just started getting my pre-o symptoms, which can come up to a week before I actually o, so it could easily be Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. So I think it'll be fine to pick up on Thursday, but...

Please tell me at least this part gets easier?

:congrats joy......hope your luck can rub off on me....having some bad cramps and neg test as of 12dpo....I honestly think that the prometrium is just delaying the inevitable. In two days if I am still neg I will stop the suppositories and move on.

Hi, I'm coming out of my usual lurking for a little vent. . .DW Tami and I just got her beta HCG results back this morning from try #7--negative again. She's on prometrium for the last couple tries. Of course we're both at work and both really disaappointed and can't even give each other a hug. I'm havng a hard time trying to think about #8. We've taken a lot of breaks so I don't think it's that, and we've talked this next cycle being the last one we'll try at home, but it's just really really hard as you all know and I just needed to vent.

I just booked an appointment for some acupuncture/TCM on Monday. The clinic specializes in fertility treatments. I've never had acupuncture so I'm a little unsure of what it will be like other than what friends have told me. I am expecting to O mid/late next week but thought I'd try and get an appointment before then...they usually book 2-6 weeks in advance but, hooray!, they had an opening on Monday morning. Perfect timing I doubt one treatment will have much impact but it's worth a shot and I will likely continue if I like it (whether I get pregnant or not).

afu, yesterday i realised that dp is getting her tsh bloodwork done on 7dpo and therefore the perfect day to also have her p4 tested! dp contacted our re's office today and they agree and have added it to the order. yay! we have never had a post ovulation progesterone test done so it will be interesting to see how that comes out. we should get both of those back the same day, i wish friday would hurry up and get here, lol!

I had my IUI today so I'm entering the TWW.

Papa - when do you plan to test? I'm planning to test on the 7th - 10 DPI since that's the day I'm leaving for Korea for 10 days and I'm hoping we can get a positive while DP and I are still in the same hemisphere. If not I'll be compulsively testing in an airplane bathroom and Seoul hostel until results are conclusive.
