Mine are always low like that early.
Pre o I mean
Average or norm temps are 97.0-97.5 pre-O and above 97.5 post-O. If your temps are consistently lower than that, it could be a sign of a problem like hypothyroidism. Since those are averages, though, you could have lower temps and be fine.

My wife is exclusively BFing and 8 weeks PP.

Her temps have been between 96.2 - 96.9 for the last 23 days (when we started charting PP).

I have some of the other classic symptoms as well and I'm pretty sure my grandma has thyroid issues too. Might explain why its so hard for me to loose weight!

that's a really good feeling isn't it? :

I'm not good at using the correct language to explain computer stuff but I'll try. Use the weblink button to post your chart link. After it's posted in your sig, just put the chart symbol over the 2nd part of the link that highlighted in blue.

My cycle is going to be very boring this time. DH is gone for about a month. Since my cycles have been all over the map I have no idea how things will be when he gets back. According to my stats, I should be Oing just about that time but who knows.

Ok, so I thought I wasn't PG but maybe I am.? AF has gone already, after 2 days of very heavy flow with early-labor-like contractions, then yesterday was much less severe cramps and very light flow that was down to spotting by afternoon, and then stopped. Today I've been nauseated and tired. I've never had such a short AF, but maybe it just is this time... Or do you think I should test? I also thought maybe it was an early M/C... I really don't know what to think exactly.

My lovely sweeties just came down and handed me my broken thermometer!! THe tip was completely broken off and hanging by wires. Should I be worried about mercury poisining? I didn't see any liquid, just wires. To top it all off, I think I'm ovulating right now. I am having cramps on my right side been going on for like 15 min. HOw long does mittleschmerz(sp?) last? I'm sending my sister to get me a new one now!!

SO could this cause problems in TTC?
Not that we are trying here
Some of my pre o temps are in the range of 96.8

I don't know if it worked but I added my chart from when I conceived Riley to my siggie I only charted that month so I don't know how my temps were normally running but my BBT was in the 96's Got pg the first shot. I have thyroid issues (Graves dz or hyperthyroid corrected with a thyroid ablation) but I have been in control since before Riley with only a few minor changes with my dose (I only increasing or decreasing my dose by 112 mcg per week) Low BBT's can be an indicator of thyroid or other issues but it could be normal for you as well. Never a bad idea to bring it to the table.

checking in here too. I was still getting obnoxiously almost positive OPK's up until yesterday. There was one that was dark on one half of the line and I think from reading the OPK odyssey that still means negative.: I was having increased cm up until yesterday and little cramps on my left side so maybe just maybe I did ovulate but did not have a surge on OPK's? I guess I will see if the OPK's stay almost positive. I'm getting hormone bloodwork on Fri so I could have my doc check to see if my LH is elevated. I wouldn't be surprised at all if I have PCOS.

On the thermometer- if you didn't see any liquid I think it should be fine. Do digital thermometers even use mercury?

mommy2twobabies- you sound like me I'm always worried about the future babies that may or may not happen.

Just checking in. CD 2 here. Last cycle was a perfect textbook cycle. My second ever. I hope this trend continues. It is so easy to chart when it's like that.

Digital thermometers do not use mercury so no worries there.

What are some symptoms?

Funny even when actively TTA I still worry about things working properly.

Yes, it can be but, from what I understand, it's easily fixable. Even if you aren't ttc, if you have thyroid issues, you might want to get it treated for general health purposes.

Digital thermometers do not use mercury.

cahwilson ~ If your temp stays up like it was yesterday, I'd say you Oed on Saturday. It is possible to O without getting a + opk. Sometimes you just miss the LH surge.

ReikiMommy07 ~ From what you've described, it sounds very unlikely that you are pg. I'm not one to ask about testing, though, cuz I test even when I haven't Oed yet.
Thanks MarineWife. With all the the scare has caused me, I hope I remember it enough not to have another one... Testing is a total PITA, so I'll just let the cycle... cycle LOL.

So...would I know if there was a condom failure?

Lol. There hasn't been enough people freaking out about being possibly pregnant here lately so I'd thought I'd volunteer...

As you can see from my chart, we DTD a few times 3-4 days before O. But all those times were with condoms, and AFAIK they didn't break or anything.

Wouldn't think twice about that, but today (8 dpo) I had cramping and thought AF was coming early but nothing. Hopefully not implantation cramping. I haven't had any spotting. AF isn't due until Saturday. Oh, and I have also been really emotional today. :

I'm really not too worried, but...yeah...tell me about the condoms. And I'll probably just continue to overanalyze every "symptom" for the next few days...

You know how it is...
Oh, and ReikiMommy, I agree that it sounds like even if you were pregnant, you aren't anymore.

Ok, to offer a voice of reason , progesterone causes all the symptoms of PMS and early pg. In other words, this early in the game, you'd feel the same either way. I have no idea how you'd know about condom failure until after you found out you were pg. The only thing I know of is that it could be a problem if the man stays inside the woman for a long time afterward.
Well...I never get cramps this early in the cycle, which is why I was thinking it could be implantation.

But DH said that he thinks it would be pretty obvious if a condom were to fail so I'm not going to worry about it too much unless I get some other signs that make me think I might be pregnant. My chart doesn't look triphasic yet so that's good.
