Ok, I am so glad to know I am not crazy. With DS and my miscarriages, I knew. I just knew. And when I'm not pg, I tell DH, "I just feel alone." He is skeptical, but I know it's possible to sense your baby's spirit before you ever get a BFP.

OMG, my DH too! When I kept getting neg POAS he was so pissed! He kept getting upset about me wasting our money (seriously, I went through like 8 hpts-never got a pos.). I took a qualitative test- was 'inconclusive' then a quantitative showed a faint amount of HcG. They told me DD was a m/c. But all this time (2 weeks) I just knew- and nobody believed me.

finally had time to read a few more pages... came across the part where everyone was talking about vivid dreams! I never once dreamed that I was prego... but when I was pregnant with DS - at least 1ce or 2ce a week I would have a dream that felt incredibly real... no details I could post in public - more like something you'd see in an XXX-rater!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

last month had one as well (DH still brings up the fact that I took advantage of him after the dream.... )... before AF showed - that's the first thing that convinced me I was pg... the second was producing colostrum already (about 9dpo)!!! (got my hopes up, because my bbs were a mechanical failure with DS.... )

Hi girls!!

If we're sharing pictures to put names with faces, here's mine.

I had some really exciting sharp cramping in the area usually known as my uterus yesterday afternoon that I'm attributing to implantation cramping. It would be 5-7dpo-ish. Thinking positive. And stating symptom. Not obsessing, naturally.

Degas, I'm so, so, so, so jealous that you're going to the inauguration. SO jealous. Have a good time!

This also pretty much describes my sit. Temps still up, nervous they'll fall, trying not to spazz. I'm a little crampy this morning again and I'm wavering between thinking they're the same cramps I've had all week or they're AF cramps. hm. Went out with really good friends last night and they all got tipsy and silly. I felt like the boring preggo lady who can't drink, except that I don't even know if I'm preggo. I think it would be easier to fill that role if I could feel all self-satisfied rubbing my belly and looking prim.

MrsTC - thanks for the pic! Are you sure you're not standing in my parents' kitchen? They have the same cupboards. Sorry I can't reciprocate but I promised DH I wouldn't give myself away on here in case one of my students somehow finds me on here. I don't want them to know how much CM I have.

Happy Sunday ladies!!!

Yay for cramping! Hope it's little one burrowing in there.

AFM: Well today is my last day on progesterone- yay. Hope it causes me to start a new cycle- a fertile early-ovulation cycle!

I had a wonderful dream last night about giving birth and I'm going to share it with you- but I just got interrupted by my son; I'll share it later.

Happy Sunday to you all!

That is SO funny! That yogert is like my guilty pleasure! I usually don't buy it because: #1 It's so expensive. #2 It's so delicious. But I couldn't resist the other day and now it's all gone.

Hoping you get a fresh start to a good cycle!

AFM: Temps are slowly sinking, I'm cramping BIG time and just waiting for AF to begin. I almost feel like I need to accomplish something before I get pg, has anyone ever felt that? I don't know what though...it's wierd. I think I'll go clean out my closet (I remember having a floor when we bought the house ) and see if that helps.

Ok, thread-stalker here.

I've got another of my amazing stupid questions! LOL
I kinda-sorta-something with a chart, but as I have no thermometer, I don't temp, I have NO IDEA what the different CM's are... (that just confuses me), so I track my periods, and kindof guesstimate when I should be O'ing.

I started the first, ended the 5th (light spotting for the morning, done by lunch)... I guessed O at the 11th. (boo, no time to BD)... checked a site today, it said it was more likely the 17th... (Def BD'd the night before, and some of that morning... LOL)

So, I usually have 28-30 day long cycles... (fairly average, pretty consistant)

Do I even have a CHANCE this month, and can I REALLY chart without doing temps??

Hi! Um, I would wonder what you're charting if it's not temps or cm...are you just guessing at cm and putting that in? If you go with the "average" date of ovulation, it would be 14 days before your period. But yeah, there's always a chance, ofcourse! If you're wanting to get pregnant and don't want to chart, the best advice I have would be to do it every other day from day 11 to day 17. That would cover your bases. CM isn't too hard to figure out...just do the stretch test...if it stretches between your fingers and is all wet and slippery, then you're fertile. If it's sticky or lotiony or dry, then you're not... Or if you're like some of us, you ARE fertile, just not drinking enough water...but I digress.... Good Luck!

I wasn't charting CM, because I'm not sure what to look for, when to test it, etc... and no temps because I have no thermometer...

DBF and I would love to have one, and we've been 'trying' for about 4 months... I'm just now starting to try better recording.

Oh! and, okay, here’s Me on the right, andDBF the giant dork. :P

I'm on CD 18, hopefully 1dpo, maybe more. Waiting to test until AF is at least 2 days late.

Cute pics! I would suggest temping if you don't succeed this cycle. It's super easy- you can get a thermometer in ANY drugstore, walmart, target, etc., usually next to the condoms. Fertilityfriend.com is free and easy to start. It will give you a better idea of when you're Oing in case your CM is not good enough alone to tell.

Still no AF. I believe I am 14 DPO, and I usually have a regular 12-day LP. Maybe my O date was off, but I really don't think so. I still don't have any pg symptoms, although I've had some very minor crampiness off and on the past few days. If I have any breast tenderness, I think it's only cause I've been poking them.

This is driving me crazy. Today in church all I did was obsess: "Could I be pg w/no symptoms? Maybe it's ectopic and that's why I didn't feel implantation. Is that pain in my shoulder symptomatic of an ectopic pg? Uh,oh. I think AF just started." Right after church I ran to check, and nothing.

When I joined this thread, I said I would test on 1/19 and only if I *knew* it would be +. I don't know. Part of me wants to test, but I also do not want to see a BFN. HELP ME TO NOT TEST!!!

Dahling, don't you know that if you're pregnant, you're not going to get a period and the longer you wait to test, the better the odds that you'll see a positive test?

I know it's hard. I know you want to know. You wanted to know YESTERday or the fifteen days before that. Another day that passes is a good thing. Wait two to three more days if you really want to be sure. AFs can and do come a few days late all the time, just to trick us.

Peace and strength to you.

Reikagoth, welcome!!! I'm not a temp-charter, but I used to record mucous (discharge, basically) and other symptoms like moodiness, headaches, breast tenderness (though mine are basically numb from nursing 3 years straight), cramps, etc. It served me really well TTA and helped me to become aware of fertile signs when TTC again. There's lots of ways you can do it. If you're confused about all the shortcuts in typing we do, there's a thing at the top of the TTC board that breaks them all down for you. Or whoever it was that asked what CMs and stuff were. Anyway, good luck to you, we look forward to getting to know you! Is there a date you'd like me to post for when you AF is due?

ShwarmaQueen, I'm sorry you're feeling AF coming. I've meant to ask you tempers...is it cool to kind of know, temp-wise when AF's coming, one way to avoid wasting pregnancy tests, or is it not? AND I have felt a lot of "gotta get a project or something done before I get pg" lately. I take it as a good sign, like someone's warning me that I'm going to be laid out for weeks with fatigue and m/s soon. And if I want to get anything productive done, now's the time!!

KaliShanti, did your midwife tell you anything about what to expect when you go off the progesterone? Will it cause mood swings or appetite changes or anything like that? Are you noticing anything with the buildup of it in your system now?

Hope everyone's having a good weekend. I noticed that our thread is kicking all the other threads' butts for participation. Maybe there is something to being chill about testing. We cool

Ugh! Stupid AF found me. I'm so mad at myself for getting myself so hyped up for a BFP.

I did not test til the day that AF was due (and she just had to mess with my head and not show up until after supper).

I'm not sure really. I'm also on other supplements that are new so I'm not sure what is causing what, but my CM has been more eggy lately. My temps the past few days though have been really low for me. *shrug*

Well, you might be missing your fertile time, many women don't ovulate on day 14. Taking temps is the best way. Taking Charge of Your Fertility is the best book on charting, IMO.

Awww.. so sorry AF found you! *hugs* And isn't it awful hen she's just a tiny bit late?!

AFM: So my dream last night... I dreamed I was giving birth to my second baby! I've never had a birth dream before, even before or right after Tor's birth.

I could feel the contractions in my dreams; they hurt but they were manageable and I had breaks in between, There were friends and family there and I think we were at my parents' house. I checked myself internally and I was at 5 centimeters. I told Joel, "We'll wait a bit to call Kathleen (my midwife)". I talked with some of my friends.

I started thinking, Maybe I should get in the bathtub since I wanted a waterbirth last time and didn't get one. But it felt right to get on the toilet instead. I was sitting there talking to someone through a gap in the door (hah hah yeah right), when suddenly I felt pain and a lot of pressure. I reached down and felt the baby's head!

Then with minimal pushing, my baby slid out into my hands! It was wet, slimy, warm. I cradled it and lifted it up. It was kinda blue so I sucked out it's nostrils with my mouth. It opened it's eyes and just started at me, making small noises, but no crying. It was smaller than Tor was a birth (yay!). I rubbed it a bit to get some pink color to it. One of my family members said, "Let me check to see what gender it is," since for some reason we had not found out yet.

Baby and I just started at each other; it was so peaceful, the baby just looked so calm. I remember thinking, "I'm glad the midwife wasn't here; I'm glad I got to catch Baby myself. My baby is so peaceful and beautiful." I was just about to find out the sex of the baby when I woke up.

It felt so real. I could "feel" the contractions and the crowning and everything in my dream. It was so sweet. I hope it's a foreshadow of things to come in some ways. I have had "meaningful" dreams before in my Life; it has been one of the ways the Lord speaks to me I believe. I'm not certain if this was one of those dreams, but it seemed like it in ways. Maybe it's encouragement to not give up.

Anyway, I know that's long, but I hope yall enjoyed reading it.
