AFM - FF changed my O day, so now I am supposedly only 3DPO rather than 6 I have no clue when/if I O'd this month, thanks to my usual O pain being MIA. Oh well. Patience...

i think i broke fertility friend's brain with my long cycles. it keeps on adjusting things, and i have to go back and make it accurate. maybe im just doing it wrong. oh, and maca tastes nastier each day that i take it. DH is taking it, too. he says it tastes like dried poo. thanks honey, that's a helpful image.

FF gave me cross hairs today. I don't believe I O'd though. I've taken my temps at different times each day after differing lengths of sleep, so I'm doubting their accuracy. I guess if I have my first ppaf in a couple of weeks then I'll believe it.

AFM- I'm 10dpo today, and I got a VERY faint line on an Answer this morning. I'm not going to say BFP until it's a line my husband can easily see.

Thanks for the support, ladies. I'm so up and down about all of this. I want to be pregnant very badly, but I really, REALLY wish my DS would cut down on the nursing. I know it won't last forever, but it's making me a bit bonkers.

Anyway, I tested today. It didn't look promising, so I didn't bother waiting the whole ten minutes and went back to bed for a couple of hours. Checked it when I got up (I know, I know...) and there was the faintest line. Too faint to even show up in photos (I tried) but looks more pink than grey... I'm not getting my hopes up yet, especially after my chemical at the end of November, but... I'm gonna test again tomorrow properly. :

AFM- I had my second u/s today and saw the heartbeat.: It was 166 so I am happy. I was so worried. My dd has pretty much weaned herself. I try to offer at bedtime and she will suck for about 30 seconds and then turn away. The only time she really wants it is around 3 am when she wakes up and can't settle herself back to sleep and then she nurses about 5 mins and lets go. I wasn't quite ready but I guess she was. Makes me sad. I have pictures of my ultrasound on my chart.

I just have to say I am so frustrated. I'm just venting. I know nursing prevents O'ing but damnit why do I have friends that get pregnant EACH TIME when full time nursing their six month old...and I've got my 9mo bbDD and I'm not even close??? I've OPK'd and there's nothing. Nada. Zilch.

I feel like I've got a few good years of fertility left and DH and I want to have a big family so let's GO people! I've spent well over the last decade doing things for other people, dealing with crap that isn't my problem to deal with, and now I'm ready to FINALLY focus on ME and US and OUR family. And DAMNIT it's not working! It's not like I'm missing the egg drop, it's not even THERE. So DTD doesn't even make a DIFFERENCE. Ok, except for the obvious, but still. Like I said, I"m just ranting. We are ready to have another bb, DH is totally gung ho about it. But I'm not ovulating. I feel like I'm broken :

And no, I won't wean bBDD just so I can O. It's not fair to her (in my mind) to get cheated out of mama milk just so I can get pg again. She's still so little, I nursed her sister till she was 4, so I know I can do it and I need to do what is best for THIS baby not what is selfish for me. I know that. I just am pouting and throwing a tantrum right now.

Ummm...I meant to say "BFP"

I knew, knew, knew something was up. And today I was looking particularly round. My husband convinced me to buy a more expensive digital test and I dipped the stick instead of actually POAS (I should preface with the last pregnancy I kept thinking they said negative until I finally went to the doctor...apparently I can't read them or have horrible aim ) and it said pregnant! I'll go to the doctor to confirm.

Congrats to all the other new BFPs and more baby dust to you the rest of you ladies!

I am totally confused where I belong. I have not had AF yet but I tested a few days ago and got a BFN. I am going to test tomorrow. We will see...

amyirene, that's great news from your ultrasound! about weaning. I often feel like it's time for DS to hurry up and wean already, but I know I will be sad when he actually does.

Turkish Kate, looks to me like you'd be 3DPO today if your temp is still up.

BeccaBaby, I wouldn't believe them, either. It's doesn't look like you've had a clear temp shift yet.

Theoretica I have read that average PP infertility in nursing moms lasts 14 months. I know people who've had AF back at 4 months and people who've gone more than 2 years. I suspect your body and your baby are making sure that the baby you have gets what she needs right now. 9 months is still pretty little.

AFM, 11DPO but my temps are only hovering right around my coverline, which doesn't make me very hopeful. I'd expect to see AF tomorrow or Sunday if I am not pregnant, so : ... Either way, I should know by the beginning of next week... :

Well, I tested again this morning, and a faint line showed up within the time frame. But it's still REALLY light and hard to see in photos, so I'm not getting excited yet. Here's the two together...
