Hey, thanks for looking! I'm so new at this and it's all so confusing right now. I'm sure it'll get easier to interpret once I get a few cycles charted. I started temping the middle of last cycle, so I was expecting to see a much higher thermal shift up this time. FF gave me O on CD 13 (which is when I thought it was anyway) but now temp is back down, so most likely not pregnant. waah

So my new questions: based on the temps I have for last cycle, coupled with a faint positive on a HPT, does that look like a chem pregnancy? I also had some of the usual syptoms that I have had with preg--late cycle cramping (well after O), increased appetite, horrible acne, etc. And second question--if I never actually produce EWCM, what are the odds of getting preg? And how can I increase them (without weaning DS)?

Kerry-I see the faint line!!!! I think you can certainly be optimistic!! How many dpo are you again?? Are you going to keep testing to make sure it gets darker? (I know I STILL am...silly as it may seem! By now the test line is darker than the control.)

Turkish Date-I don't know much about chem. preg., but hugs to you...I think it is possible to get pg. without a lot of EWCM. I usually don't have any that I notice. I just think you are much more likely to get the little swimmers where they need to be if you do have EWCM.

You can have EWCM inside without having it outside. I know this because I did fertility treatments and one cycle commented on my lack of it, and the nurse saw a ton of it when she did my IUI. Sometimes it just doesn't come out. And it doesn't matter - having it on the outside won't do you any good, you need it inside.

so cal mommy - that looks like a crappy test that doesn't have a lot of dye in it. Even the control line is faint in the +. I see something if I turn my head slightly.

Test again tomorrow with a different test. Not a test from the same box, totally different!

Runner Duck~ I agree it does seem pretty crappy like it didn't have alot of dye. I went out and bought a 2 pack of Answers and will test tomorrow with fmu

So, maca makes me sick to my stomach Not like, ew this is gross, but like, excuse me while I vomit and curl up with my stomach cramps. I am going to try taking just a tsp or two tomorrow and see if that makes me sick as well. If so, I've got a whole package of maca powder up for grabs!

Hey mamas, I can't see myself on the list this month but I did check -in briefly at the beginning. A lot has happened for me since!

This is my thrid cycle and I have been taking vitex and B6 for a really short LP the last two cycles ( only 5 days!) So, I get to this 3rd cycle and get a positive opk on CD 17 & 18 ( and BD on those days)then a temp shift on CD2. My temps stayed high all that week but I also started with a sore throat.

By CD27, 8DPO my sore throat turned into a very bad cold/flu. I was going hot and cold and had very bad sinusitis pain, headaches, migraines - just felt awful so I started lots of natural remedies. DD also decided to increase the nursing at night since she is teething. My temps were higher than i have ever seen them ( though I don't think enough to class as a fever).

On 11DPO, I still felt ill and had some very light spotting, just a few marks in my underwear ( sorry if TMI, LOL) one time and that was it. It didn't seem at all like AF but then again I was ill. I thought it might be implantation bleeding and tested. I got a very, very faint line but at 10minutes and the tests I am using have a cut off time of 5minutes. So I called it a BFN. I still felt really sick and went to the doctors and she gave me some antibiotics and decongestant because she said I had a very bad sinus infection ( I know, I know,I rarely take them but I'm feeling so ill). I tested again on 13DPO and , I got a very faint line again but RIGHT ON the 5 minute mark. I tested yesterday and the same faint line but at 4 minutes. Today , 15DPO I tested FMU with FRER and got ( I think) a BFP.

BUT, I am so nervous, I mean, I'm ill right? I'm taking antibiotics and decongestants, I still have really bad sinus pain. Is this a BFP or is it because I am sick? Should I stop the medications? Can meds/illness effect the test? Do you think this is a genuine positive?

The faintness of the line this late worries me. I had a very strong line with DD at 12DPO. The last time I had a faint line like this at 14DPO I m/c at 13 weeks., but I'm nursing now so that's maybe why right? I'm just so wary of being excited this early?

I haven't even told DH yet as he has been really stressed at work and was starting to have second thoughts about ttc - this will stress him out even further ...ugh, my stomach is flipping....

You betcha I'm going to keep testing! After my chemical, I'm very nervous about calling this one way or another until I see a few more days of increasingly darker tests. Thankfully I have one more test strip, FOUR dollar store tests, and a CB digital to use up. But I will say this: I feel more pregnant than I did with the chemical. this queasiness will not go away. So, I'm starting to feel cautiously optimistic.

Congrats Ashleigh!! : and best of luck with tomorrow's test, Kami -- that looks promising.

Thanks mamas! Wow, it still hasn't sunk in yet. I thought I was going to battle my short LP for a lot longer. How could it work out with suh a short one? Guess I am very lucky.Wow, my head is spinning!

Bromache, yes, it is what I want to hear, but probably the last thing DH wants to hear right now so I feel very nervous. Congrats to you too, guess this is a very fertile month!

Ugg i started bleeding earlier but i'm only 10dpo so still trying to stay hopeful, put in my diva cup to see if i'm really bleeding or if its just a fluke.

Things are pretty crazy right now. So I will not being keeping track of anything. And instead just letting the pieces fall where they may. So if you could remove me from the list that would be great .

I introduced myself last month and then got busy w/ other stuff... I'm back! I'm on CD28 and still waiting to "O". Having long cycles drives me batty! I'm not concerned yet. With DD2 I O'd on CD32! And I think I might be gearing up to O again... my breast feel wierd and I can't stop eating. I almost feel like I'm pregnant already!

It looks like there are A LOT of BFPs! Yay! Congrats!

Turkish Kate, green tea is reputed to increase EWCM, and I find it makes a huge difference for me. Also Evening Primrose Oil (taken only pre-O) is supposed to help. But it's also true that if you can't see it, or only see a very little bit that it may be inside, where you need it. Also, people swear by Pre-Seed as a lube, but IMHO, it it a fine as a sperm friendly lube, but EWCM is designed (if you see it under microscope it becomes clear) to help channel the swimmers up where they need to go. Different from not killing them

AFM, I O'd today or yesterday, can any of you TCOYF Mamas tell me if the LH surge preceeds O, as in, do you drop the egg while the LH is high, or after it has surged and dropped? I tested positive all day yesterday, fading today. So I am trying to get a sense. My temps have been kooky so I can't tell much by them the past few days, as DS's sleep has been wonky.

AFM, still 2ww'ing. AF isn't due until Feb. 3ish, so I'm going to wait and see. If nothings happened by my birthday (the 4th), then I'll test. Here's hoping for a really great birthday present for me!
