Legislation enacted that will affect the sale/trade/manufacture of childrens' items

I don't know if this has been talked about much, but it's a BIG thing. If you make, sell, trade, buy or have ANYTHING to do with children under the age of 12, this will affect you.

So, just in case someone missed it, I'm posting information about the
legislation going into effect next month. It will make ALL sales,
donations, trades of used or new products for children under the age
of 12 ILLEGAL unless the product is tested for toxicity and "certified". It will shut down thousands of stay-at-home mom businesses AND small businesses that make unique children's toys will most likely be devastated. It will affect craft fairs, consignment shops, farmers' markets, etc.

Here's a link to the most recent information that a friend wrote after studying the law.

Please pass this along to ANYONE that might be affected, please.

Thanks Jen... There have been a few posts about this, and discussion on the Activism board. It's good to know that it looks like there is some "flexing" going on in regards to natural materials w/regards to mandatory lead testing. I'm keeping my fingers crossed as I keep contacting my reps.
