My blessingway was today. 
It was awesome. My house was just overflowing with mamas and babies who came to support new baby and I. I had a long foot soak, a hot stone massage, acupressure, reiki, and I now have beautiful Henna on my hands. I can't wait to see all of the beads strung onto a necklace, but I don't know if that will be done before baby gets here. I am going to snuggle up in the beautiful shawl my mother knit that was blessed by everyone, and listen to the birth music one of the mamas brought.
The general feeling is baby will be here by Sunday. I wouldn't be surprised. The acupressure brought on some good contractions, but nothing that lasted. We shall see if my body kicks into gear now that the party is over. With that in mind, I am going to get all of the rest I can in the next 2 days. We shall see if the mama mojo is working.
