GF and celiac testing

I've been reading about celiac since we've been GF and do wonder if it is in the family. I know the blood test for celiac can be falsely neg if on the GF diet. To get an accurate result, how long does the person have to be eating gluten? Would a couple of days be enough? Or does it take weeks/months?

It needs to be quite a while, especially for the blood test. You have to be eating gluten for a long time from what I've read before you make enough antibodies to it to finally spill into the blood stream.
