how do you get your whites white?

we have a new washer that has a dispenser for bleach and a whitest whites cycle. is there anything else we can use instead of chlorine bleach?

Borax. Oxyclean. Or best of all - hanging out in the sunshine to dry.

I've never used bleach in the laundry, and my whites are just fine! I use NatureBright sometimes, but I don't really notice a difference.

I suggest Rit White Wash. You can get it from drug store or walmart, target, etc. Since Rit says dyes for clothing, the white wash is always in that area

I use Nature bright from Shaklee and I add it to my regular wash and if something is really messy I will soak it. I just picked up the cutest summer outfit at a rummage sale but it had a few yellowing stains on the front. I soaked it over night and looks Brand new I was thrilled..

I use Ecover non-chlorine bleach. It's hydrogen peroxide in a stronger concentration than for first aid.

It's also great for tough bathroom stains.
