Any one know how to make an image round?

I am going crazy trying to make a digital photo round for my website. All of the image software has way to many options available and I don't where to start. I just want to make a square photo round! Anyone with experience with digital editing for dummies

An image on a website is always going to be rectilinear. You need to figure out a way to make it look round without being round. Without knowing what software you're using, I can't give you specific advice.

I just want it to look round. I have Corel Photo Paint 9 and I downloaded Gimp as well.

Use the circle drawing tool on your software to outline it then erase the edges? That's what I'd do, but there's probably a fancier way.

If you save the image as a PNG instead of a JPEG then you can put a circular image on a transparent rectangular background.
