Are you calculating due dates from conception or LMP

I have a question for all of you and especially any ladies that are past their due dates. Are you calculating your due dates from your LMP or from conception or ultrasound? If I calculate my due date from LMP then I am 42 & 3 days but if I count from conception I am only 40 & 3 days. So I'm just confused and either way just want this baby to come out.

I have 3 dates that I'm working from right now. LMP was 12/20 but I know that's not right because I always ovulate CD18 or later. I know I *thought* I ovulated on a Monday, which put my EDD as 12/22. But, I know I also had some weird pains on a Friday, which would put the date more like 12/26. Baby has consistently measured a week behind, and the ultrasound I had at 22 weeks (which are really not all that accurate for dates at that point, but still) put the date at 12/25.

So right now we're working with the latest date possible. My midwife is only estimating her to be around 7 3/4 pounds so that seems about right.

oh, yeah, and I'm with you. No matter what date you use, this baby has worn out her welcome in my womb. We're basically quibbling over HOW late she is at this point, it's time to show up!

I have no idea when my LMP was because I had a lot of spotting and weirdness in March last year because my cycles hadn't returned regularly because of BF. If I went by the last time I had a semblance of a period, the due date would have been early December. Going by likely date of conception, I got December 24th. Because my charts were so irregular, it is all one big guess and it drives me crazy. Looking at my charts, I *thought* I would go in early December/late November but I can see how very, very, very wrong I was.

I had an ultrasound in November that put the due date on 12/13. Last week, I had another US because concern about fluid levels and some other stuff that was brought up during the first one. Everything was fine but this one came up with 3 different dates depending on the model that you use. That was on 12/30 and it had me being anywhere from 38.5 to 41 weeks. I think the 3 different models had due dates of 12/28, 1/2, and 1/10 or something like that. Estimated weight is 8lbs 5 oz but I am not holding my breath that she is that small. How in the world am I supposed to know when the US can't even get it right?

I didn't even realize I was late until at least 2 wks past. I can never remember my actual pd due date! But going by the week it was supposed to come, EDD was 12/10. Early U/S showed 12/27, but since I was always early Dr said no, I think it's 12/25. He said the u/s machine had also been off 1-2 days for all his moms lately. So even if going by 12/27, I'm 41 wks today. All my test results etc say 12/25 so that's what I go by and I'm sticking with 41 wks 2 days. - that's really what it feels like anyway!
