birthday time... dairy,soy,egg,chocolate,nut free cake recipes?

Any one have a favorite cake & frosting recipe? I found some online, but just thought I'd ask here for any ideas because you really don't know if it will be good until you make it kwim?

Google "Wacky Cake Variations".

We don't deal with soy ( only milk,egg,peanut, treenut ) but Wacky Cake is what we use for every birthday.

Not so sure about frosting when dealing with a soy allery. Sorry.

Wacky cake is chocolate. But there are variations for spice version and vanilla somewhere (not sure if THAT is on the stickies though).

You could do a vegan carrot cake.

For frosting you can just do palm shortening, confectioners sugar, and rice milk.
