Just visited some friends who had a baby boy 2 weeks ago and mama let us know that she DIDN'T CIRC...seemed pretty proud about it too. She talked about it casually and openly--so nice to hear!
I feel good because I wrote to her months ago about circ and it obviously stuck. She may have come to the decision on her own anyway (considering that she engages in critical thinking
), but this has put a little fire in my belly. Really, we have nothing to lose by educating folks about this important issue.
