Need Ipod help!!!

I created 2 playlists recently- one for my mom's memorial and one all christmas. How do I get them not to shuffle inot my regular music??? The memnorial stuff I don't minf so much (all classical) but obvoulsy the xmas stuff is not so good right about now!! Do I need to deselect next time I sync??

What do you mean have them not shuffle into your regular music? What kind of ipod is it?

Do you have a shuffle? I thought they didn't do playlists. If you have a regular Ipod, do you mean that you want to shuffle but exclude certain songs?

It's a regular Ipod nano. When I choose menu/music/shuffle songs it includes songs from my playlists so I get xmas music intersperced (sp?) with my regular music. Driving me crazy!!!

I think you can choose menu, playlist, shuffle songs instead

or, alternatively, re-sync without the christmas playlist until you want to add it back in again.

The issue is I only have 2 playlists- all my "regular" music is under music, does that make sense?? I have had my nano for a while and never had any playlists and could listen/shuffle just fine. Do I now have create a playlist for my 500+ song library??

I made a couple play lists for work music - senior aerobics that I do not want to listen to on a regular basis. I just uncheck them while in the playlists and they automatically uncheck in my library. Then I re-sync and they never come up.
