change.gov again!

Go back to change.gov and vote "yes" for the questions that ask Obama about ending RIC. There is one question asking him to keep funding RIC, answer "no" to that one. Here is the link. You will need to register to vote. After registering you can type circumcision in the question's search box to see all the questions about circ. Please be sure to do this b/c this is phase 2 in the process!
Thanks

The verification numbers where under the box to type them in so I couldn't see all of them and I couldn't make it out when I pressed the button for sound, it was incredibly distorted, ugh. I'm not sure if it's the browser I'm using or what. I'm using opera. I managed to get signed up though.

I'm not totally sure I understand this question...

Also search for mgm and this should come up

Obstetrical care in this country is scandalous and we pay dearly in terms of life-long mental and physical health consequences.

I voted no for that one. I think that one is trying to promote circ. Just read each question carefully so you vote yes for the ones that ask to end circ and no for the ones that ask to continue it. I think there are only 2 that are asking to continue RIC.

I have just voted AND edded my question to stop circ. So now it's 10 questions total. I'd really appreciate if those of you who already voted for other questions go back and vote for mine as well.
thanks,
yulia.

I voted in all but this one...

"NIH African AIDS-prevention studies: "Men believed genital hygiene before sex would arouse suspicions of infidelity or cool sexual ardor"; post-sex washing prevents HIV infections. How to move NAIAD beyond pre-sex condoms, microbicides, circumcision?"

It didn't make sense to me.

There are 4 new questions and this 1 is falling behind

"Legislation was passed in '96 to prohibit female genital mutilation and protect our daughters from being violated in this way. Why is the same protection not given to our sons? Why is routine infant circumcision still funded? Why is it not banned?"

I read that question the same as you did. It kinda rubbed me the wrong way, but I didn't vote either way on that one.

Maybe it's the fact that I haven't had enough coffee yet, but I can't figure it out.. What the heck is NAIAD?

I voted for that one yesterday.

I voted "yes" on the 11 anti-circ questions, "no" on the 1 pro-circ question, and like everyone else I had no idea what the NAIAD question was about so I left it blank.

Yeah, that was a weird one. Maybe they tried to make it confusing?

I can't figure out how to vote. When I click on a check mark, it doesn't do anything

Same here. Have they disabled voting?

Look in your little box (to the upper right of the screen) that tells you how many votes and how many questions you have. It should have a number there for the amount of votes you have submitted. You can only vote once for each one. Nothing really happens when you click the check mark it just stores your vote.
