Baby's eyes

What color are your baby's eyes? Do you think they will change? Have they changed already?

Evangeline's eyes are blue, blue, blue. They started out a midnight blue and are now a light, bright blue. DH and I both have brown eyes but his dad has blue eyes and my mom and her siblings all have blue eyes. E's eyes are the color of my mom's right now.

I can't believe that they can take up to a year to change color. I think that it will be so strange to look down and not see my blue-eyed girl any more if her eyes turn brown like I think they will.

DS1's eyes started out gray and looked to have a blueish tint, but they turned brown eventually. I don't remember exactly when, but it was over 6 months for sure.

DS2's eyes are gray as well. I'm betting they will be brown.

OMG, I have 2 boys! Weeeee! I'm in love.

All of my kiddos have had dark blue eyes.
Ds 1's turned green when he was 3 1/2 years old
Every one else is still blue.
Katara's eyes are blackish blue but by far the darkest of all my kiddos.

I have a grey eyed little guy. I was quite surprised! My eyes were brown until I was about 20 and have been getting greener every year since (I'd call them hazel now I guess). Dh is mexican/native american so his eyes are undoubted solid brown. Dd has the darkest eyes out of the bunch of us. They were nearly black when she was a baby and have lightened to dark brown. Sometimes ds's eyes have a brown tint to the grey and sometimes a blue tint. The only person in either of our families with blue eyes is my dad so I guess it skips a generation?? The rest are all brown or hazel. Odd. I'm hoping his eyes stay grey but, I understand that they will probably change quite a bit.

DD went from baby blue, to grey-blue, to hazel. One day I looked at her and they weren't blue anymore.

DS is blue so far.

I have blue eyes, DH has brown eyes.

Willem's eyes were slate blue at first and have now gotten brighter. DH and I both have blue eyes so we know this little guy will too!

Annika's eyes started out dark gray with a slight greenish tint, but they've already turned dark brown.
Two of my other DDs have blue eyes, and one has brown - hers started out sort of greenish, too, but turned brown by six months.

Steely gray-blue. They'll most likely be brown like the rest of our fam.

I'm not in your DDC (saw this post from the front page), but wanted to share something.

My son's eyes didn't change color until he was almost two years old. They were very blue, and now they are very green. In pictures of him at 18 months and older, they are still VERY blue.

I remember thinking at some point.....when did they turn green? It was sort of weird to realize that eyes can change far past a year of age.

My eyes were bright blue until I was about 3-4. They are now a light green with no hint of blue left.

When he was born they were such a dark steely blue they were basically black, but they've started getting lighter as his skin gets darker, they have a bright ring now.
We're speculating on how beautiful a curly blonde haired, green eyed, golden brown skinned toddler will be.

DD's eyes changed somewhere around/after 18months.

My little guy has steely-grey eyes that I am assuming will change to brown like the other two kids. Brown eyes is about all I contribute to my children's genes as they seem to look just like DH in all other ways.

Kairi's eyes were a pretty grey/green color when she was born. They were never blue. They turned brown when she was about 5 months old.

Brenna's eyes are a pretty blue right now. I don't know if they'll change to brown or not. We'll have to wait and see!

My LO has dark grey blue eyes that keep getting lighter and bluer...DH has bright blue eyes and mine are hazel, so we'll see what happens

Aya's are steely grey/blueish as well.

My oldest had dark brown eyes from the start, like me. Like seriously dark, like the night. Ds2 and dd had light brown eyes and they are typical brown now. Ds3 had hazel eyes and I suppose I would say they are a hazel color now. He has the lightest hair and eyes.

I figure Aya's will fall somewhere in there, most likely turning towards brown.

Evan's eyes are really blue(hoping they will stay that way.) And the really cool thing: one of his eyes is bluer than the other...just like his dad. I love it! He has his dads eyes and his moms red hair(I had penny/copper hair when I was little and I apparently pass that on to my kids.)

Jennifer's eyes are a dark blue grey, but getting a little bit greener as time goes on. DBF has hazel eyes, and I have hazel eyes, although I was born with dark brown eyes, and they changed color when I was 12 yrs old.
