Need Pics of Play Rooms - Page 3

Ok...not really a play room - more of a play area in our living room (which you can also see in one of my flickr photostreams)

Which dollhouse inspired you?

What are the dimensions of it? It looks pretty large.
Same here. Love that, I must have missed that one before. Do you have the info on it?

Here's a link to the dollhouse that ours is modeled after. It is pretty big but it's great because both kids can play side by side. HTH!

They don't appear to have a catagory just for playroom, but you could get an idea for colors etc by looking at other rooms on here...this site is so addicting...

ETA: the wall color is pacific panorama by Behr, and I love it. We move stuff around a LOT (so the pics aren't even current, hehe), but this was one of my favorite set ups...

Thanks for all the wonderful, and inspiring, pictures. Two of you, (I think Blucactus and notwonamesalike) have really nice wooden kid-sized tables. I esp liked notwonamesalike I think. I have gone through two wooden tables that were some form of particle board on top, and they just have not lasted. I want a really nice, sturdy wooden one, made in the USA, like these wonderful play kitchens, but I am looking on willow toys and the like and I don't see tables. I saw one on threesisters but I don't like that one as much. Where did you guys get yours?

I'm sadly not going to be much help. Our table was a very lucky Craigslist find for $25. I've not been able to find any identifying marks on it. I think it might be made by Lipper International though.
There is one similar to ours that I found here:

It looks like it's made in Thailand.

I'm not going to be very helpful either. My dad made the table and chairs in our playroom. He made the table for me close to 20 years ago for my dollhouse table, and we took it out of storage for my son a couple years ago, at which time my dad made the two little chairs to go with it. I love them because they are simple, wood, pleasing to look at, and very sturdy. Those little chairs have held adult weight time and time again without a protest.
Have you looked on your local craigslist?

Thanks guys! I will keep looking! I was hoping one of those wooden kitchen people would have one! Maybe I should suggest it!

Yeah, this one does look good. I do wish I could find one made here though. Probably wouldn't be as cheap! Sadly.

Oh, it looks more like he modeled after this one (I knew I'd seen one just like yours somewhere before):

It's a dead ringer for it, except it looks like on the right side of your house, it's got a 1/4 round on the first and second floors where the walls join the floor.

This is the one at your house

Here's ours. It's a playroom and a bedroom for both kids, but they don't sleep there.. so mainly a playroom! We have a solid wood table too, made by Kaplan Early Learning Co. It was a gift, so I'm not sure what it cost, but it's incredibly solid, and I love it!

Thanks everyone great links and pics!! I am totally freaking out right now. DH picked the orange after I had my heart set on green and when I painted it in the room it dried NEON ORANGE!! I can't stand it and can't stop crying. I know that it is just paint but we adopted a puppy Saturday (emergency rescue) and I have no time to get things done now!!
