I may never bathe without Lush again!

Dh got me a Lush gift box for Christmas and told me to check out their website. I went to the store near us today and their Christmas boxes were buy one, get one free. I got the "Christmas Present" boxes with a bunch of stuff in them.

The bar soaps were buy 1, get 2 free (in store) today. My favorite is "Honey, I washed the kids."

I love the smell of it all. Dd loves it. It's vegan, organic, handmade, fair trade, etc.

I think I'm in love.

Also a big fan of their deodorants (I think it's called Aromaco - smells of patchouli).

Just wanted to say that you should always look at the ingredients, some of their stuff still contains parabens etc. Generally speaking the solid stuff is ok but the liquids tend to contain these kind of preservatives.

I tried one of their soaps but I find their fragrance is very strong. They have a catalog/newspaper that lists all the ingredients in each product, some of them are not as "green" as they lead you to think.

I think most of their soaps and shampoo bars contain SLS. My DH and DS1 are sensitive to those so we don't use them here.

They mark their synthetic ingredients in black and the "green" ones in green, so they are upfront about it.

I love lush. Sure they aren't 100% natural, but they are so much more fun than the boring all-natural off-white, lightly scented soap that I make myself. I also love their bath bombs. I only allow myself to splurge on it once a year though, otherwise it would get out of hand.

I also avoid all their stuff with parabens & SLS, but I believe their shampoo bars are all SLS-free now.
