Hydrogen Peroxide is also known to work and at what concentration. The hospital does NOT use bleach, because of its toxicity and has always used H202. I find it weird how entrenched Chrlorine is in our lives when there are alternatives. If I had a nickel for every mom who just 'can't give up bleach for cleaning'. I would be a super rich mama. Yet, it is really unnesecary for cleaning and there are totally less toxic alternatives. I haven't used it really ever and I know that my house would stand up germ for germ to a bleach users house. :confusing:

Personally, I've never used bleach for cleaning. If I need to disinfect, I use Melaleuca's Sol-u-guard which is made from thyme oil and citric acid. Effective and much safer than bleach.

Clorox bleach commercial

The commercial does TELL US TO RINSE first. I will not; however, use bleach on my baby's bottles.
