FYA info: TJ's has corn-free powdered sugar

Per the people on the FAILSAFE yahoo-list, Trader Joe's now carries a powdered sugar with tapioca starch. Our closest TJ's is over 200mi away so let me throw a pity party.

MDC allergy forum coop anyone? (I'm only half-joking, here )

too cool! mtn. mama also mentioned recently that a popular natural brand was changing to no corn soon. it's a brand i frequently use and recognized the name when she wrote it but of course i can't remember it now. there's hope for you yet!!

I'll send you some! I need a reason to go to TJ's. I always forget about it even though it's only 15 or so miles away, lol. I kind of stopped going when I couldn't find much that was corn-free.

The driven snow in our backyard is looking a little dingy at the moment! (hmmm, is dingy like unwashed or dingy like dingbat -- are there different spellings?). Anyway, put all flours/sugars in ziploc bags inside the box!! And make sure that your return address is on the box so that the postal inspector can call you at 5am!!
