Did anyone watch this?
I am a SYTYCD fan and I just noticed that Pasha and Anya are going to be dancing for Russia.
My ds1 - almost 3 - is loving watching the step dancers right now

We watched the first episode last night. I love dance, and think it is great that all of these cultural dances are being shown.

I liked that it was mainly dancing, and not a lot of jabbering from judges and whatnot.

The camerawork drove me nuts though. I wish they just had a still camera, so that you could watch as if you were sitting in the audience. I always feel like I am missing something when they do close ups. Ugh!

Yeah, the camera work was annoying - it was on SYTYCD too.

I saw several former SYTYCD contestants on stage and in the audience. Cool! All the different national dancers were fantastic, but the camera work was torking me off from the get-go. : Just hold it still so we can actually see the dancing, for the sake of carp and tuna!

: to the camera work for sure

I didn't notice anyone but Pasha and Anya. I will have to keep an eye out when watching the next episode.

I watched most of it. It was fun but not that gripping since we're seen several of the dancers before. Somehow it doesn't seem like a 'real" competition- like on SYTYCD it all seems so life-altering for the contestants, you're on the edge of your seat to see who will have to go home. I didn't get that feeling from this. But still enjoyable to watch and see all the different styles!

I completely agree. All the different styles of dance are neat to see. Ds1 really liked it.

I never watch commercials, I had not heard of this.

I watched both nights. I thought most of the dancing was great! It's great to see some of the traditional dances, like from India! So beautiful! I loved the solo female South African performer! WOW!!! I had chills.

It was great to See Pasha, Anya and Robert!

I was so excited to watch this and did enjoy the first show. I won't be watching anymore episodes.

I just cannot get over the commercials. My LORD, they were every 9.2 seconds. I was going mad!

I catch it on Bravo channel, since it comes on too late for my dd to see. I really liked it. My dd likes to dance and what I liked about this show, was seeing the difference cultures and dancers. I missed the solo S. African dancer though. But loved the Chinese pointe ballerina.
