need 3 other mamas for wellness support

Thread Starter
I am looking for a small group of mamas to support each other in our wellness/weight loss goals. We could check in here with each other to report progress, and also exchange email addresses. Anyone up for it?

I am Kristy, 25 yo sahm (except for weekend nights) to 2 boys, 4 1/2 and 2, and one girl, 2 1/2 months, wife to Mike, who is in school, working, and has a brain tumor (currently in remission as of his last MRI).

My goals are:

lose 40 pounds by the first week of Aug. (son's birthday)
walk dog twice a week
do yoga twice a week
no more than 1 hour of tv a day
make healthy dinner at least 3 times a week

42YO here.

Want to lose that last 15lbs before July 20 (daughter's wedding I don't want the mother-of-the-Bride to be a beached whale)

Tae-bo 5X/week

2-3 additional activities/week (I'm doing a 3mile walk around the block something like that)

Eating goals..... get a grip on grazing.

Limit sweets (my achillies' heel)

Cook really healthy.

at least 2 fruits and 3 serving of veggies/day.

drink needed water.

Dangerously high

Anyone have any low cholesterol (and he is on low sodium too) diest sthat work well for weight loss?

I walk about 5x per week but with a stroller or sling so not fast.

I should but I'm not ready to commit. *sigh*

gauge14iv, are you and your husband at all open to becoming vegetarians? The basic rule to remember in terms of dietary cholesterol is: If it has a mother it has cholesteral. The other thing to bear in mind is that your body makes cholesteral. There are a few factors that affect how much your body makes, but stress and exercise are big ones.
