If you do, would you mind sharing what you like and what you don't like? Perhaps you used something in the past that just didn't speak to you or maybe something actually did bring you closer to God, the Universe, nature ... whatever.

My mom gave me this for Christmas and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous illustrations and very sweet ideas inside. Plus it's just structured enough so that I can be creative about what I include...

This potty is great - excellent value & performance! (plus it's cute!) My 9 month old DS took to it right away. He is a big boy (30 in. tall - feet not quite on floor - & 27 lbs.) and this is...

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.
Do you use a devotional guide?

I'm not sure if you're Christian. If not, I guess this isn't very helpful for you but I'll go ahead and post.
In the past I have used "My Utmost For His Highest" by Oswald Chambers. It's excellent. it's a year long devotional. It includes one scripture and then basically two to four paragraphs talking about a particular issue. It is deep, profound, and best of all, relatable. I will probably pick it up again sometime in the future just because it's the type of devotional I can go back to again and again and again.
Something else I use right now on a daily basis is Our Daily Bread by RBC ministries. I get it free from church every three months (its a small booklet that lasts for three months). It has a similar format to Utmost for His Highest but it also includes a suggestion of several verses to read on your own time. It is probably less deep and less profound but more practical to the daily concerns of Christian living. Regardless, it is still a good serving of "daily bread" for the soul.
I am interested in hearing what others have used.

I like "A Year of Sundays" - super small book that can be carried anywhere. It reflects on each week's gospel.

I used "My Utmost for His Highest" too at one time in my life and really liked it.
Right now, I just use "Daily Word' magazine...published by the Unity Church.
It may sound silly, but I also love the Notes from the Universe emails from TUT.
They always make me smile...and are free!
