on TED and need help

Hi,
My 9 week old Ds is allergic to diary and soy. After I stopped those, some of his symptoms(eczema and congestion) got better. But the poop was still mucusy and had blood in it. So I went on TED (eating only turkey, rice, yam and squash and pears) a couple of weeks ago. Since then, ds's poop has gotten better gradually, and at the end of last week, I haven't seen blood for a couple of days, and the mucus also has decreased considerably. The color also changed from green or green brown to brown yellowish. However, I still has at least 4 bowel movements a day.

I thought TED was quite sucessful. So I introduced chicken on Sunday. I had checken instead of turkey since Sunday night. Today (Tuesday), I noticed him being extremely fussy on the breast, and his last bowel movement was brown with a bunch of dark brown mucus and some streaks of blood.

My questions are:
Does the new poop with blood mean ds is allergic to chicken but not turkey? Or it is just a normal regress, since maybe I did not wait long enough for his guts to heal completely? Is four or 5 BM's a day too often for a 9 week old?
Shall I stop eating chicken immediately, or keep trying it for another day?
(I still have a bunch of cooked chicken, but no turkey in the house.)

Thank you for any help!

It sounds like you were at baseline, and that chicken may be an offender (if it's regular old supermarket chicken though, it could be any number of issues -- corn-fed, antibiotics, hormones, etc.). My DS tested positive to both chicken and turkey, and they've been out of his diet for 7 months. I just checked chicken and it was a no-go, so I'm waiting a little while on the turkey.

Yeah, I would probably stop the chicken- sounds like a reaction to me.

I think that 4-5 bowel movements is normal for that young of a babe, but I could be wrong. Not many of us in the Allergy forum know what "normal" poo is.
