Tamsin Elizabeth, 8lb7oz, 20.5in
Born 1:09 AM
She surprised us by being posterior... we literally had no clue. No back labor or pain at all. I'm thinking she may have rolled over during transition. She also had an odd placenta, with a hole in it and also a small, fluid-filled sac. The midwives were bewildered and said they had never seen that before.
Her labor was 10 hours total with TWO hours of pushing... Mamas got a small perineal tear that might need stitches, but otherwise we're both doing wonderful. She's already a champ nurser.
Pics will be up as soon as I'm allowed to get out of bed.
