We had planned homebirth that lasted 33 hours of labor with 1 1/2 hours of pushing. Yes, I was tired, but all I have to say is that Hypnobabies works!!! I only had 2 rushes that I thought were really very painful and that was right before the pushing stage. I'm so happy that we were able to do this. My mom caught the baby in a last minute decision since DH was helping me out with nipple stimulation to keep the rushes coming. Even the crowning wasn't painful. I'll try to put a birth story together. My memory of things and how it happened are quite different.
Update: It's exactly a week later and we have had an interesting one! We had an issue with pooing for a couple of days where Rohan didn't poo for like 48 hours. It was really freaking us out, but after a lot of nursing and a chiropractic adjustment he opened up the flood gates and is now a professional pooer. We also discovered that he was tongue-tied. DH is so I figured that he had a good chance of being so too. So after getting abraded nipples we had a friend call around (she's an LC) and we were set with an appointment to get it clipped and got that done yesterday. Now all he has to do is learn how to use his "new" tongue. The latch is way better now without the teathered tongue, but we still have a little more work to do. Today we're looking to take pictures for his birth announcements. We were going to go to the studio, but decided that we needed a more cost effective solution so I'm researching places online where we can just load our photos and get announcements printed. Suggestions? Also finally I have some pictures from the first couple of days with our little guy. We're so happy that he's more relaxed, feeding well, and quite a jolly fellow when we aren't changing his diaper. So here is the link to Rohan's photos.
