I am guessing that it's a church v. state issue. I think other states have similar inclusions.

yeah, not ideal, but i have to agree. i don't want to set precedence for the state to tell a church what to do inside its walls (outside of murder, child abuse, etc, obviously) and vice versa.

C'mon Patrick... I'm pregnant, hormonal, and if you don't sign it I'm gonna cry!

Wait, now I'm confused...the first post in this thread says he signed it. He hasn't?

Huh? I found a news article saying he signed it on 1/5.

WOOOO!! That is awesome.
Now if only other states would follow or just the whole US! I think Nevada should since we get a lot of tourists and I'm sure some come as families and could possibly be nursing.

No, he didn't sign it, the news report was incorrect.
So he may have signed it yesterday or this week. But not on the 5th as that article stated, that was the day the legislation enacted it... then it goes to the govenor for signing (also according to the Mass Breastfeeding Coalition). All the other news reports stated this correctly... that it was enacted and was on the way to the govenors desk for signing. I haven't heard any updates on the MBC list... off to check....
