I'm late on this

I had my baby back on Thanksgiving day. Her name is Emma Camille. She weighed 9 lbs and 13 ounces and was 23 inches long. She has really long fingers and feet. It's been pretty crazy around here. I ended up going to the hospital to have her but it was a better experience than I usually have. I ended up losing alot of blood though after I had her and my iron level was half what it's supposed to be. I'm still recovering from that and may have to have blood given to me. Thankfully, my sister has the same type I do. We both have O-. She's doing great at breastfeeding and sleeps fairly well at night. I'm trying all the time not to be freaked out about SIDS, that one is a bit harder though.

congrats on your new baby girl. hope your recovery goes quickly, it can seem to take forever to get your energy back after that kind of blood loss.

Thank you....my niece and my oldest daughter were there with me and they let my niece cut her cord. She's still telling people that. My niece was wanting to be there so much when I had Emma so I had her watch some births on you tube so she would know what it would be like.
