He has been having stools once every 5-7 days. They are foul smelling. Sometimes putty like, sometimes more liquidy. Orange colored. His EBF stools were fine until a bout of diarrhea at around 5mo -- since then, his poops haven't been the same.

I started him, naively, on solids at the urging of nurses to "help" with the diarrhea back then.
Now he eats only rice cereal. I actually just tried butternut squash with him yesterday, but he didn't like it so much.

I should also add that he's been on 2 rounds of antibiotics (Keflex) for staph infections due to the eczema (again, naive.) I've been adding probiotics, milk free, since then.

I don't know if the constipation is an allergic reaction (he has had bad eczema and is alllergic to cow's milk and eggs for sure -- possibly a few others), or if it is a deficiency in some vitamin or mineral. Either way, I want to help him get back to normal. Everyone around me said not to worry about it -- "he seems happy" -- but something's telling me that once a week's not normal.

Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
