Favorite Movie Endings - Page 3

The Quarrel. I just described the movie in the "Favorite Movies" thread. It is a movie that takes you to some deep places spiritually, intellectually and emotionally and then has this amazing scene at the end that I felt took me to a new place as a person. The ending felt like a celebration, like I was part of it somehow.

Yep, the ending of Sense and Sensibility--Emma Thompson's acting in that scene just blows me away (I hear she has a moment like that in Love, Actually, which I haven't seen yet)---you can tell how deeply she feels the emotion of the character.

When Harry Met Sally--hilarious ending

Happy Accidents--has anyone seen this? DH and I recently saw it and loved it

rainsmom - about The Quarrel

I wish I could tell you. I saw it in a Toronto movie theatre 11 or 12 years ago. I loved it and then saw it late night on the CBC about 9 years ago. I haven't been able to find a sign of it anywhere since, although I would love to. I vaguely recall that Norman Jewisson may have had something to do with it but I'm not sure of it. It seems like I was the only person who loved it because it seems to have vanished from the face of the Earth! Does anyone know of a website that helps you track down obscure movies? This one was Canadian which will only make it harder to find.
