Favorite wash/dishcloth patterns?

I want to make a nice set for my doula, but I have some criteria:

Forgot to put this in the title, but knit, not crochet (I can only do single crochet so far).

Has to be closed-weave--open weave/lacey patterns have fallen apart on me too quickly

Fun to knit--all one stitch pattern is fine, unless that stitch pattern is garter!

Not a picture-in-relief such as the bfing cloth. I just don't love how those look.

So does that leave me anything interesting? I know I don't really need a pattern for these, but if you've tried something that worked and looked nice, I'd love to hear about it!!!

I like to do a set of 3; the ballband (2 color), the really easy diagonal garter stitch one and my personal favorite here:

If I do the interwoven in one color and the garter in another I can get ballband out of the leftovers and they are all different but coordinated.
