OPV vaccine still available?

My sister took her son in for his 4 month shots and said that they gave him a "liquid polio" vaccine. She is very much pro-vaccine and will not hear anything negative about them whatsoever so i did not push any questions. Anyway, i am wondering if there is another "liquid" form other than OPV that was possibly given to him?
I thought they did not use OPV in the states any longer? How bad is it that he received OPV instead of IPV?
any info is appreciated. I am worried about my little Nephew.

BTW, she lives in NV.

OPV isn't used in the US any more.

The current oral vax is rotavirus.

maybe thats what they gave him. I should probably ask her to make sure she is not going to a dr who is trying to get rid of old vaccine crap.

from the CDC website

Inactivated polio vaccine (IPV), which is given as a shot, is now used in the United States. Oral polio vaccine (OPV) has not been used in the United States since 2000 but is still used in many parts of the world.

Well, hopefully she knows that it sheds (whether it was rota or polio) and she needs to be extra careful changing diapers.
