SO MAD. Bloggy moms, tell me what yout think.

Someone who reads my blog, but also has a blog, is completely stealing my content. Not my posts, but everything else about my blog.
*She took my custom template a day after I posted it.
*She put a "donate" button her blog, a day after I put on one mine. She even copied my idea to send a cool thing to each person who donated.
*I had no room for a couple pieces of code that were required for membership, so I stuck it at the bottom of my page till i could deal with it. She did the same thing, within two or three days of me doing it. (obviously not realizing that it was there temporarily.)
*I decided to host a giveaway, and blogged asking for suggestions, and she did pretty much the sme thing, except called it a contest.
*She put a google search bar on her site, right after I put one on mine.
*I have a link on my site to my advertising page, and she put one on hers within a couple hours of mine going up.
She even has her ads arranged the same way I do, except on the right hand side of the page.

This is NOT a coincidence, and it's REALLY irritating. What would you do, if anything?

Unless she's copying the content of your posts, there is nothing you CAN do. All of those things (barring the stealing of custom template...if you designed that yourself/ paid for it I would mention it to her) are items I have seen on many, many blogs. You can't "own" general blog items like that.

this is so strange, but i've seen stranger things happen on-line. why don't you blog about it? :

is she not aware that you will notice? maybe she's a novice and doesn't realise people can see their readers' url etc?

maybe she just loves your blog too much and has no ideas of her own?

someone you know who's doing it for some reason?

for how long has this been going on?

Yeah, i know there's nothing I can do, it's just really annoying! i've put hours and hours of work into what I'm doing and then to have someone so obviously just take it... urg. Irritating.

I mean, everyone does the same type of thing I'm doing, but this is blatant and obvious. I've gotten my ideas from lots of blogs all over the place, not just one. That would be really weird, ya know? Even if she just said "Hey great idea, I'm going to try this too" or whatever, that would make a difference.

Its been going on a longtime but for reasons I can't say, I can finally say something about it. I don't want to do anything about it or anything, just kind of wanted to vent. People are weird sometimes.

Maybe you should add more and more weird things to see how many of them she'll pick up, for your own amusement.

And then blog about it.
