Questions for the experienced no pooers

I have been no pooing for well over 4 months, I still have this horribly greasy hair by day two. Am I still transitioning? Is there anything that I can do to speed this process up?

Also, DH was converted to a no pooer until his dandruff came back with a vengeance. He has the worse dandruff I have ever seen. It flared up when winter set in, so I am sure that the dry air had almost everything to do with it. Anyways, he went back to his Head&Shoulders. Before he did I tried adding tea tree oil to his 'No-poo Balls' but it didn't seem to help. I am really wanting him back on track with things but we have to do something about this dandruff issue. Any ideas or advice?

I haven't tried it yet but I have read that it's good to mix 1/4 cup coconut oil (melted or at least softened, i would assume) with a little bit of lemon juice and massage into the scalp...leave on for one hour and rinse it off...

I looked up natural dandruff remedies b/c I expected my dry scalp to worsen when I switched (about two weeks ago now) to no-poo...I assumed it would get worse since I wouldn't be using the anti-dandruff shampoo...luckily for me my scalp seems healthier and less dry now that I'm not using shampoo...so maybe this will work for your hubby!!

Also, I read that dandruff is a sign of candida overgrowth...so some dietary changes might also help...
