I need help with the "trinity" stitch please :)

Hello all

I would love some help with this one please?
I am making a messenger bag and casted on 28 stitches and then proceeded to purl the first row. Now the pattern says to k1, p1, k1 all in one stitch creating three stitches where one once was and refers to it as the trinity stitch. If you know of a visual link I would be SO appreciative too! Totally visual person here

Many thanks

no visuals, but what are you having trouble with? You'll knit one (leave the original stitch you knitted into on the needle) then purl into that same stitch (again leaving the original stitch, that has now been worked into twice, on the needle) and knit into it again, then pull it off the needle. You'll have three stitches that came from that one original stitch it'll look like a big ol' lump mess for the first few rows, but then you'll see the nubby pattern emerge
