Rice Dream ice cream - Page 2

I want to thank everyone for their ideas and condolences.

As previously noted, he cannot have coconut...and I even did a trial just to check over the weekend. Yup...big no.

Eggs are out as well. That one is actually a true allergy, so even the allergist acknowledges that it exists. Anyone detecting SARCASM?

I think a sorbet is a possibility. He used to eat strawberries happily, but won't now. I could probably use peaches, pears, or blueberries. Chocolate sorbet sounded neat. Lemon/ orange/ (citrus) is out, so I may have to figure out another way to get acidic.

I really do hope to make a rice milk version work at some point.

A friend has promised to loan her ice cream maker when she locates it.

I got my ice cream maker at Sears on closeout. It was less than $20.

I got a brand new Rival ice cream maker at goodwill for $5. no box or manual, but that's why god invented google and the ability to download PDFs from the manufacturer.
