Anyone else with little to no symptoms?

Hi mamas!!!

Just found out I was pregnant last week; confirmed yesterday (19 dpo) with a hcg blood level of 1640-ish and a progesterone level of 26.5.

The problem? I don't feel very pregnant. I had a *ton* of symptoms in my two week wait (which, since I ovulate early, was more like an 11 day wait, hehe): my breasts killed me, I was radiating heat off of me and waking up sweaty, hot and uncomfortable, my acne cleared up and then my face broke out in tiny whiteheads, my breasts became gigantic, and I was ravenous.

Now, for the past few days, I have been a little achy and tired but nothing to write home about. My breasts have a little soreness on and off, and every once and awhile I get a little flushed, but that's it. No nausea, no gigantic appetite (although I will eat most of anything that's put in front of me), and I feel, well, great!!! Is this something to be concerned about? I know it's so early -- I'll be five weeks tomorrow. Anyone have a similar experience?

I'm trying to relax and not be paranoid, after all, everyone wants an easy pregnancy! But I had a miscarriage in September at 6 weeks, and I remember losing symptoms before it -- although they really didn't exist much to begin with, honestly, I think they were mostly psychosomatic. I know everything's going great but I just want the reassurance of a little nausea! When did your symptoms kick in?

Glad to be here, mamas, and looking forward to the next 9 months with all of you!!!

My only symptom is exhaustion, but that's based on health issues and medication dosing, not pregnancy.

My daughter was my first and only other pregnancy. I had one or two hot flashes around weeks 4-5 and then nothing after (other than uterine stretching)...no morning sickness, no cramping, no peeing in the middle of the night, not even one contraction before labor. I'd like to think I'm just one of the lucky ones and crossing my fingers that I have a repeat performance.

Thanks, mama!!! I hope you're feeling better and not too exhausted. Good to know others have had uneventful pregnancies.

I see lots of lurkers but very few posters... no matter! I still feel like everything is fine, and my numbers yesterday were good, so I'm going to stay hopeful!! Plus, I'm getting at least one symptom back -- I can feel the heat radiating up from my collar and hitting my chin!

My friend (who just gave birth) told me that she thought she had escaped symptoms when none had really shown (except for tiredness/exhaustion) by week 7. Then she got hit with the worst m/s ever!! So I won't jinx myself by announcing no symptoms yet.

I'm not really having symptoms either.

The most marked symptoms is some minor cramping here and there. But that's about it.

I occasionally feel gaggy. And I'm tired. And my boobs seem a little bigger, but are not sore and really not unusual at all.

I feel, well, almost normal.

I also have minor cramps that happen now and again. I also feel pretty moody.:

I'm six weeks tomorrow and mostly still normal. Boobs feel full and sore, a little cramping here and there, that's about it.

Hi everyone! I didn't know there was a forum for our due date, so I'm excited to find you all!

I'm at 4 weeks, and so far I feel great! (knock on wood) I actually have had more energy the last week or so than I normally do. My only symptoms are that I have been peeing a lot, including getting up in the night, my nipples have hurt on and off, and I've been having very slight cramping almost every day. I'm hoping the cramping is normal!

I look forward to getting to know you all in the coming months.

How did you get tested so early? My gyno/ob wont't see me until I'm 8 and a half weeks. And even then, I only get to see the nurse. I have to wait another week to actually see the doc. Did you have to insist to be tested or seen?

I'm 5 weeks along and worried b/c of lack of symptoms. Every site I see says I should be peeing a lot and starting to feel nauseous. Both sister and mother were nauseous by this point.

Friendlee,

Don't worry (I know easier said than done)! I didn't feel any symptoms until I was 6.5 weeks, and then wow...sick all evening long into the morning. I didn't get the peeing thing right away either, really I felt GREAT for the first 6 weeks. I remember naively thinking "man, this pregnancy business isn't too bad, it feels just like normal me" BUT THEN along came morning sickness. Now, at 10 weeks, I'm really hoping for a cease-fire in my stomachal regions. I'd love to eat something other than pop-tarts and cereal.

So, don't despair you may yet feel really sick...OR maybe you will be one of the lucky ones who never feels that bad (I hope that is the case for you!)

i feel pretty good and find myself seeking "reassurance" that i'm really pregnant. i got a BFP several weeks ago, and so far no bleeding whatsoever, so i can only assume all is well. i am rather hungry a lot of the time and having some cravings for restaurant foods! which i have indulged once so far. (there's a great italian place just down the road, that does take outs that you can pick up through a drive up window... great considering i am home 24/7 with a toddler). i also am a little more tired than usual.

but cramping is not really an issue. my breasts were/are a little sore. i am still nursing, but have gotten used to the pain by now (also in part "denying" the pain so i can continue to nurse her through it... playing mind tricks on myself that i didn't do when pregnant with number one.)

i sometimes think i'm not peeing that much; however i am home and basically housebound in this winter weather and we are having construction done and the workmen block me in... so i also think i am probably spending more time going pee than i realize because it's so convenient, not like last time when i was driving an hour to an from work each day. also i gave up coffee entirely, which takes away that bladder irritant.

no real morning sickness. i didn't get it last time either.

long story short, i'm probably pregnant. if god forbid something happens and i'm not, i will find out feb. 12 when i have my appointment and we'll have to go from there. all i can do for now is to keep taking my prenatal, get as much rest as i can, keep eating well, drink lots of water and pray for the best!

try not to worry, either!

I'm 6.5 weeks, and not much going on. I had some nausea and cramping off and on through the past week. My nipples were sore, but today that went away, which makes me nervous. And my breasts aren't bigger at all. I'm tired and not much sounds good to eat. I am trying not to be worried that my symptoms are slight or going away, as I saw some other people say their symptoms come and go. Still nervous.

This support is priceless to me! Just hearing encouragement and similar experiences puts my mind at ease for long enough to stop obsessing and get things done. This is my first pregnancy and we've been trying for 6 months. (Both mom and sister got pregnant their first try!) So I started out ultra relaxed about it all and got more and more anxious and inquisitive as time has gone on.

Hey we have been thinking about naming our child Talulah too! Love that name. My mom used to sing me the lulaby, Talulah, lulah, lulah, lulah bye bye...in your mommy's arms a-sleepin'...

Do you know it? We struggle with a fitting one syllable middle name though.

Hooray, for this thread! I'm 3 1/2 weeks from conception (5 1/2 weeks?) ....how do people calculate that, dpo or dp last period?

anyway, I had WAY more symptoms in my TWW, including sweating my tushi off in the night. I was feeling worried yesterday that my symptoms seem to be easing a bit. Last weekend I had surges of hormones where my heart would be pumping really hard. All week I was rather emotional. Now I feel, well, fine!

My boobs still hurt, and I get little twinges in my belly, and I think I'm still peeing tons, though it's harder to notice on weekends because I don't have to hold it like I do while teaching. I have thought how nice it would be to have m/s confirm the presence of my little bean, but I'll probably regret saying that. Even so, BRING IT ON!

I don't have my first appointment until February 10th (7 weeks). They also won't see me before then. arrrgh! the waiting continues. I'm just trying to relax and enjoy being pregnant, which I'm going to assume I still am until proven otherwise.

So, I originally posted this thread because I was feeling virtually no symptoms at around 6 weeks. MAYBE a little breast tenderness and some tiredness, but that was essentially it.

I still have what I would consider mild symptoms, but they are more pronounced at 8 1/2 weeks. So, I am more queasy, I hate cooking smells and feel sick when I smell them, and I am craving lots of sweet and comfort foods (toast, mashed potatoes, creamy pastas, etc & chocolate... oh, the chocolate!!!). BUT, no puking, no extreme exhaustion, no extreme breast sensitivity -- though I sometimes have shooting pains, but they come and go -- you get the point.

I just had my 8 week ultrasound so I know everything is fine and moving along perfectly down there -- and I have "felt" it was fine the whole time, as opposed to my m/c, when I "knew" something was wrong from Day 1, almost -- so I am determined not to worry and just take my lack of symptoms in stride. After all, I am trying to complete an enormous task while pregnant -- several chapters of a dissertation -- so I really can't have the symptoms anyway, ya know?

So, yes, try not to worry... and enjoy your ability to get out and get things done.

Oh, and Tear, I had the *exact* same situation you are describing. My TWW was a monster -- I was radiating heat all the time, sweaty, I had the appetite of a horse, my breasts were GI-NORMOUS and so sore... yeah, then it all dropped off at around 4 weeks and it wasn't until around 7 weeks that new symptoms started up again. This is a wild ride we are on, isn't it?!

This varies from dr to dr. As soon as I got a bfp, I called mine up and they ordered a prescription and started doing serial HCGs. 2 weeks of that and they offered me an U/S (which I declined). But then this is a doctor I've been seeing for 3 years while TTC.

As for symptoms - I'm 7 wks today, and my symptoms are very minor. A little bit of nausea if I skip breakfast, tender breasts, and I swear I could sleep for 24 hours straight if I let myself. Last night I fell asleep around 5, I think - woke up long enough to cook some dinner, fell asleep again and DH woke me to move to the bedroom at midnight and I slept all night until 8.

i'm still tired all the time, and nauseous and hungry most of the time, but otherwise, not feeling preggy much now. my breasts havent been sore in weeks.

my symptoms seem to be piddling out and i am a little worried. i keep wondering if the baby stopped growing or something. uughh....i am battling the fears but it does get hard. i am 8 weeks today. send me positive vibes please.
with my 1st pg, I hardly had any symptoms at all. I had a bfp on my 5th week and the OB/Gyn wouldn't see me until I was on my 8th. I tested twice weekly until then. LOL

Octobermoon, here, catch! : I have noticed that my symptoms seem to come and go, like i'm getting spurts of hormones every once in a while. How long have you noticed this "piddling?" Send happy, growing vibes to your baby. I know that's hard, but I think it's natural to worry about this at this point. Things are probably fine, so try to put all negative thoughts out of your head.
